Inside mount — adequate depth
Measure width at top, middle, and bottom. Order the narrowest reading. Confirm ~1" clear depth for the headrail.

When returns are thin or trim eats depth, outside-mount on flat casing with overlap on each side.
After water exposure
Replace swollen or moldy treatments with vinyl — do not reinstall damaged fabric or wood.

Should I buy blackout rollers as a temporary fix?
Usually no — use lower-cost vinyl for temporary privacy, then upgrade rooms once sizes are final.
What if we still have plywood on some windows?
Cover only openings that have glass and are in use. Order permanent sizes after each window is finished.
Can PMs bulk temporary blinds?
Yes — commercial accounts can stage vinyl mini by approximate size bands, then true-up measurements for final orders.
